A Bit About Me
For those of you I haven’t met yet, hello! I’m Jaime, the Personal and Sales Manager here at Prism & Pendulum. I bring 25 years of experience in management and a lifelong path as a Psychic Medium. Spirituality runs deep in my lineage; I come from a long line of gifted mediums and healers. In 2020, I became a Reiki Master Teacher and launched my business, Shades of Spirit LLC, to bring healing and clarity to others through energy work, readings, and spiritual mentorship.
In 2023, I expanded my path again, this time into the paranormal! I co-founded Paranormal Roadtrip, a project that combines spirit communication and investigative work to explore the mysteries of haunted locations with respect and integrity. Focus for August: Back to Balance, Working with Leo Season Energy
As we transition deeper into Leo season, the energy shifts toward personal empowerment, clarity, and confidence. This is the time to realign with your goals, strengthen your boundaries, and shine your inner light. Our theme this month, Back to Balance, is a nod to this energetic reset, perfect for students heading back to school, parents adjusting to new routines, and anyone looking to bring more structure and vitality into their life.
Focus Chakra: Solar Plexus (Manipura)
This chakra governs our sense of self-worth, willpower, and personal strength. When it’s balanced, we feel motivated, clear-headed, and empowered. When blocked or sluggish, we may feel indecisive, anxious, or like we’re not standing fully in our truth.
Crystals to Support Solar Plexus Energy: Tiger’s Eye (Encourages confidence, decision-making, and grounding), Citrine (Promotes positivity, clarity, and abundance), Orange Calcite (Invites focus and revitalization)
Essential Oils: Lemon (Uplifting, cleansing, and mentally clarifying), Orange (Encourages creativity and emotional balance)
Ritual Tip:
Write down a personal empowerment affirmation or intention on a piece of paper. Light a yellow candle (associated with the Solar Plexus) and place your written intention beneath it. Allow the candle to burn while meditating on your power and purpose. For extra potency, perform this ritual during the Full Moon to amplify your manifestation energy.
